Forbedr din akademiske skriveoplevelse med den kraftfulde integration af MonsterWriter og CiteDrive.
Enhance your academic writing experience with the powerful integration of MonsterWriter and CiteDrive.
This seamless collaboration brings a new level of efficiency and accuracy to your writing and citation management.
MonsterWriter is the ideal tool for students and academics writing a thesis. It simplifies structuring complex documents by automatically formatting citations, footnotes, and tables of contents. Unlike other traditional programs used to write term papers, bachelor’s, or master’s theses, one does not need to bother about the format at the moment of writing. Now, MonsterWriter includes CiteDrive, a collaborative BibTeX citation and reference manager – simplifying the entire process, from literature research to the organization and correct citations.
What is CiteDrive?
CiteDrive enables users to manage, share, and collaborate on BibTeX-based references. It is an efficient platform for managing citation libraries across projects and synchronizing them in real-time with tools such as Overleaf for LaTeX projects or RStudio for research coding.
How does the new integration work?
With the new MonsterWriter CiteDrive extension, you can easily synchronize your references between both platforms, enabling seamless writing and citation management updates. Find out how to get started here:
Cite CiteDrive References in MonsterWriter
Instructions for getting started
Just as you know it from Overleaf or RStudio after you have filled projects with references in CiteDrive (see our guide), you can copy the corresponding link from the project using the “Magic Bib File” function and paste it into the CiteDrive field in the reference management area of MonsterWriter. Take a look at the MonsterWriter video.
With this integration, you can focus on the content of your academic paper while MonsterWriter and CiteDrive take care of the citations and formatting. This new feature saves time and optimizes collaboration between you and your fellow students - because, just like CiteDrive, you will soon be able to invite other users to edit the same document together in MonsterWriter.
