We propose a new patterned circular polarizer called Optical Decoration Film (ODF), in addition to the solution of reducing the reflectivity of OLED displays, the patterned design can be used as a decorative board when the panel is not driven. ODF is mainly used in the automotive field, and can produce various decorative effects according to demand. The proposed method has little effect on brightness and does not affect the image quality.
