A New Three-Layer Polypropylene Offshore Field-Joint Coating

Field-joint coatings require special attention because of application limitations, compatibility of mainline coating, timing constraints, and variable environmental conditions. A new protective network coating is being investigated that may provide a coating system for offshore field joints. This article reviews the development of a new three-layer polypropylene field joint coating system.
