Acute Ischemic Stroke and Acute Myocardial Infarction are both life threatening medical emergencies encountered in the Emergency Department. Both entities require emergent action, early diagnosis and treatment and have a narrow therapeutic time window. Here, we will discuss a case of simultaneous occurrence of an Acute Ischemic Stroke and an Acute Myocardial Infarction also known as a concomitant Cardio-cerebral infarction in a 52 year old male patient presenting to the Emergency Department.
