An Organocatalyzed Multicomponent Reaction: A Rapid and Efficient Practical Approach for 4H‐pyrano[3,2‐c]quinoline‐3‐carbonitriles Synthesis

A three‐component multicomponent approach has been developed at room temperature for the synthesis of 4H‐pyrano[3,2‐c]quinoline‐3‐carbonitriles. The all synthesized products were afforded in short reaction time with excellent yield using BABCO catalyst. The process is proficient with good tolerance of functional groups and well‐explored substrate scope.
