Skin and UV Neoplasia transplant risk assessment calculator (SUNTRAC) is a tool to decide the first-time interval of first skin cancer screening in transplant patients. The objective of this study was to assess the applicability of this tool in thoracic organ transplant patients. Based on data from patient files, the patients were categorized into four risk groups according to the SUNTRAC tool. Time of first post-transplant skin cancer in each patient were recorded. The proportion of patients with post-transplant skin cancer in the low, medium, high and very high-risk groups were 0%, 28.3%, 58.3% and 100% respectively. This positive correlation suggests that SUNTRAC is applicable in determining first skin screening in heart and lung transplant patients.
