Diamagnetic resonance in a metal plate in a normal magnetic field
I. E. Aronov, A. V. Golik, A. P. Korolyuk, V. L. Fal’koExperimental and theoretical studies of diamagnetic resonance are carried out under conditions of anomalous penetration of an electromagnetic field in a metal plate with thickness comparable to the electron mean free path. The shape of the resonance lines is studied. It is shown that the electrons in the vicinity of the elliptical reference points on the Fermi surface are responsible for the resonance which causes a variation of the amplitude and position of the Gantmakher–Kaner oscillation peaks.
