Effect of temperature on single-electron and Bloch oscillations in tunnel junctions

The I–V characteristics and frequency spectra of the voltage across nonshunted tunnel junctions having a low capacitance and conductance are calculated for temperatures other than zero. A quantitative pattern of thermal destruction of coherent oscillations is obtained for such junctions between normal as well as superconducting metals.
