In this paper, we study the third-order functional nonlinear di¤erential equation of the form as {a (t) øa [(a (t) ø a (y’(t)))’]}+ q(t)øa (y(g(t))) = 0; 2 2 1 1 γ-1 where ø (u) := ΙuΙ u . Results are obtained for the asymptotic and oscillatory behavior of the solutions. This work extends and γ improves some known results in the literature on third order nonlinear differential equations.
