Some Remarks on the Use of Riemann Transformations

The essay examines Lewin’s and Hyer’s use of transformations derived from Riemann’s work, and suggests a number of revisions. An expanded collection of transformations is introduced and used in an short analysis of excerpts from Wagner’s Ring.
